The FWF quota has been filled and they do not take new applications.
The Austrian Science Fund FWF supports refugee scientists or scientists from Ukraine who are unable to return due to the acts of war. These persons can be employed in ongoing FWF projects for a maximum of 12 months.
Target group
- Refugees with Ukrainian citizenship
- Persons with Ukrainian citizenship who have been in Austria for a maximum of 2 years.
- Maximum of two persons per FWF project
- Maximum employment period of twelve months per person
